New paper from Bardwell and Fruman labs published.

Congratulations to the laboratories of Dr. Lee Bardwell and Dr. David Fruman on publishing a new paper on Portland Press Biochemical Journal.

Jane Bardwell is the lead author on the paper. Madhuri Paul, a graduate student in the Fruman lab, is second author.  In addition, three undergraduate students from the Bardwell Lab are also authors.

A newly published study from the laboratories of Lee Bardwell and David Fruman identifies a possible target: the catalytic subunit of PI 3-kinase, which is one of the most frequently mutated genes in human cancer.

The paper is entitled “The WW domain of IQGAP1 binds directly to the p110α catalytic subunit of PI 3-kinase”, and it was published in the May 2023 issue of Biochemical Journal.
