Congratulations to Kathleen Leon for receiving the LEAD achievement award last Thursday!

The Latino Excellence and Achievement Awards Dinner (LEAD) honors key leaders, graduate students, staff and faculty who support and champion student success and research excellence in the Hispanic/Latinx community at UCI and in Orange County.

Kathleen Leon, from Ulrike Luderer’s Lab, was nominate by the school of Biological Sciences for her dedication and contribution to the SoCal BioEYEs, which carries out education outreach to a local middle school in Santa Ana.
