Congratulations to Gayoung Seo for winning this spring’s Dean’ Early Career Research Excellence Award.

Dr. Seo has focused her research on the well-established tumor suppressor pathway, the Hippo Pathway, and its roles in stress response and tumorigenesis. A Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Wenqi Wang’s laboratory since 2018, Dr. Seo aspires to become an independent PI in cancer research. Dr. Wang describes Dr. Seo as a highly motivated, hard-working and productive postdoc.
