Seungsoo was an HHMI-Damon Runyon postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University, working with Joanna Wysocka on transcription factor cooperativity in cranial neural crest cells. Previously, he completed Ph.D. training in Genome Sciences with Jay Shendure at the University of Washington and an undergraduate degree at Harvard University.
