Dr. Arthur Lander is the recipient of the 2020-2021 Daniel G. Aldrich, Jr. Distinguished University Service Award. This is one of the Academic Senate Distinguished Faculty Awards and one of the Academic Senate’s highest honors! It is given to Senate members who are respected scholars, and, who have made outstanding contributions of service to the University of California and/or public service. The Academic Senate Distinguished Faculty Awards are selected by the Committee on Scholarly Honors and Awards, and recognize excellence in research, teaching, mentorship, and service. 

The award will be presented at the Distinguished Faculty Awards Event tentatively scheduled to take place Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Newkirk Alumni Center (or remotely if needed).
